JIC GEM Awards 2011 Coverage by JQ Intl

The JQ Intl January/February 2011 issue has some coverage of the 2011 JIC GEM Awards. The GEM Awards were a big hit this year and further cemented the event's reputation as the "Academy Awards of the Jewelry Industry." Influential brands and people such as Neil Lane, Marie Claire, Cynthia Nixon, and many others were in attendance, honored, or presented awards.

Women's Wear Daily (WWD) had some great coverage of JIC's 2011 GEM Awards. For those of you who weren't there, Jennifer Hudson presented one of the night's awards to Neil Lane who also designed her engagement ring. The event was really well attended by the jewelry industry's top designers, manufacturers and retailers. Several celebrities and well respected journalists were also in attendance.

Jennifer Hudson Appearing At 2011 JIC GEM Awards

According to JCK Online, Jennifer Hudson is scheduled to appear at the Jewelry Information Center (JIC) 2011 GEM Awards. She will be presenting jewelry designer Neil Lane with the GEM award for Jewelry Style. Hudson's own engagement ring is a Neil Lane piece and she has worn his jewelry several times to Hollywood events.

JIC features Christian Tse Sliced Gemstones in recent media tour

The Jewelry Information Center recently went on a media tour with local NBC affiliates discussing the hot trends in fall jewelry fashion. Helena Krodel and Amanda Gizzi gave a great rundown of the latest looks this season. Large gemstone fashion rings and large pendants are a big hit lately and the featured Christian Tse's Sliced Gemstones in these videos below.

JIC adds three Ostbye pieces to its consumer design gallery

The Jewelry Information Center recently added three product shots of Ostbye engagement rings and wedding bands to its consumer design gallery.  Visitors to the site are able to view an image of the pieces, send them to a friend via email, give each piece a vote, and add it to a wish list.

JIC retains LBG for GEM Awards 2011
